Assemble your herd!

We’re looking for teams to help us get in the holiday spirit while raising money for the Nova Scotia amateur sport community.

Team registration is $800+HST and includes eight participants (you are welcome to have more participants if you wish). Teams members who choose to participate in the fundraising program will end up on Santa’s nice list. Raise at least $100 in pledges to receive your first gift from Santa! The more you raise, the more gifts you receive!

Bonus points will be given to each team based on the money they raise. The top three fundraising groups will automatically receive extra gifts!

Teams will choose one member of their squad to be the captain. The captain is the team’s leading reindeer, and it’s up to them encourage member recruitment and share updates.

Team Essentials

Creating a Team

Teams consist of eight participants. A maximum of 36 teams will be accepted in the first year.In addition to the entry fee, all teams are encouraged to raise funds by collecting pledges in advance of the event. Teams can earn bonus points for fundraising with the top three fundraising teams receiving special prizes.


Reindeer Games participants also commit to collecting pledges in advance of the event. In order to maximize the funds raised we ask that each participant collect a minimum of $100. Bonus points can be earned based on the total amount of funds raised by a team. The top individual and team fundraisers will receive special prizes.

Team Captains

A representative from each team should be selected to act as a team captain. The captain’s role is to encourage team recruitment and share information in the months leading up to the event. A Sport Nova Scotia Event Coordinator is also available to answer questions from team captains. Ongoing emailed updates will also be distributed in the weeks leading up to the event.
